ashtyne + grant

Ashtyne and Grant’s Huntsville wedding can best be summed up in three words: moody, romantic, and ethereal. The intimate affair took place at The Weeden House Museum & Garden, a historic home and wedding venue in Huntsville, Alabama.

Wearing a pearl bridal robe with sheer sleeves, Ashtyne got ready with her friends, family, and local glam team. Maleigh with MLA Artistry did Ashtyne’s natural glam wedding makeup, Spray Tan Huntsville got Ashtyne bronzed and glowing, and Heather Huff styled Ashtyne’s hair in old Hollywood inspired waves. Her classic glam wedding day look perfectly suited her timeless wedding dress.

Ashtyne’s minimalist wedding dress blends classic bridal style with sexy details. She chose our bestselling Coco Marie wedding dress from our Build-A-Bride collection in a lightweight crepe fabric. The classic sweetheart wedding dress neckline is accentuated with sheer off-shoulder straps, which we made so that Ashtyne could remove them for her reception. For a wedding “wow” factor, Ashtyne opted to change the back of her dress to be an ultra-low sheer back. Her open back wedding dress was captured stunningly through the photographic eye of Amandalyn Photography

Grant looked dapper in his Sherman Eslamboly suit and black bow tie. The burgundy velvet bridesmaids dresses further captured the moody, winter wedding aesthetic and looked beautiful against the dark colors of the wedding venue. Each room within The Weeden House has its own vintage style, and the wedding colors of burgundy and blush complemented each room.

We love how the simple, yet striking floral arrangements Flori Design Co. and Old Frond accent the space without hiding the interior beauty of the venue. Even the paper goods and wedding invitation suite by Haley Betlem and South + Main carried through the romantic wedding style.

After an intimate wedding ceremony in the parlor, newlyweds Ashtyne and Grant toasted to married life with champagne and sunset photos. The reception included both an elegant seated dinner and a romantic outdoor area complete with string lights and a dance floor. With help from Metropolitan Disc Jockey and Mullins Special Occasions, the whimsical outdoor setting came to life as the sun set.

The team at Faith Woods Events, LLC created a magazine-worthy reception inside that told a story of elegant romance. The velvet linens and vintage table settings provided by Please Be Seated provide the perfect setting for a delicious dinner catered by Huntsville wedding vendor Catering by Narvell. The personalized wedding favors featuring the couple’s dog were made by The Emerald Hound and brought a sweet detail to the reception.

The magical night saw an unexpected twist of bad weather that had the wedding party heading into the storm shelter, but they didn’t let that stop the fun! After a brief underground party, the group headed back inside to nightcap the event in style.

Ashtyne was a joy to work with, and we love her modern romantic wedding dress. We are excited for her and Grant to start their lives together as husband and wife!
