Cara and Austin’s classic wedding in Mobile, Alabama perfectly captured their new married last name… Green! The couple wed at the The Bragg-Mitchell Mansion, a historic home and wedding venue known for its iconic southern style.

The wedding invitations with custom monogram by Jay Designs set the tone for the wedding aesthetic, and it inspired Austin’s custom monogrammed cummerbund in a deep emerald green. To complement her groom’s white tuxedo, Cara chose a timeless wedding dress from our Build-A-Bride collection customized to her style. She loved the fit-and-flare wedding dress shape of our Callie Poole gown, which features a plunging V-neckline and low back.

To add her personal style to the gown, Cara customized the back of her gown to the sheer wedding dress back of our Summer Wales gown. We love how the dainty pearl trim adds a classically southern detail in an unexpected way. A chic chignon and natural bridal makeup by Jessica Price finished off Cara’s bridal look. Cara and Austin’s little girl wore a sweet ruffled dress, completing the beautiful family portrait.

Cara’s bridesmaids wore gowns from Bella Bridesmaids in a deep shade of blue green accessorized with cream-colored wraps. The organic white bouquets by Revelry Bloom featured fragrant eucalyptus, which brought in the rich teal color of the bridesmaids dresses.

Following a traditional church ceremony at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Cara and Austin enjoyed a few newlywed sunset photos with wedding photographer Elizabeth Gelineau before joining guests for a tented wedding reception. Wedding planner Bella Victoria Events captured a timeless wedding aesthetic with the all-white decor, neutral centerpieces, and a black and white checkered dance floor.

Guests enjoyed a catered dinner by Georgia Rousso’s followed by an evening of dancing. The tiered white wedding cake by Underground Custom Cakes looked beautiful within the historic mansion, and the themed groom’s cake by Sally’s Piece-A-Cake showcased Austin’s love of fishing.

The entire day was beautiful and joyous from start to finish, and we are honored to have been a part of it. We wish Cara and Austin so much happiness as they turn the page on this exciting new chapter in their lives!
