emily + addison

The rain didn’t stop this couple from shining! Emily and Addison’s fall wedding was nothing short of perfection. Coordinator Dana Baswell with Southern Styled Events ensured that the day ran smoothly. The wedding invitation suite by Weezie B. Designs set the tone for this classic Alabama wedding. Their special day was filled with sweet moments and lots of laughter, and local wedding photographer Eleanor Stenner Photography was sure to catch every moment.

Emily started her big day getting ready with her bridesmaids in matching striped pajama sets. She wore a timeless chic bridal updo paired with classic bridal glam makeup by Beauty From Ash, which paired perfectly with her crepe wedding dress.

Emily designed a perfect wedding dress for her Alabama wedding by mixing-and-matching two dresses from our Build-A-Bride collection into one. Emily chose the bodice of our Tiffany Nicole gown, a sexy spaghetti strap wedding dress with a plunging neckline, mesh insert, and low scoop back. Tiffany Nicole is one of our most popular wedding dresses for the modern bride. Emily changed the skirt to our Brittany Massey gown, a sheath wedding dress with a clean, flat-front skirt and flowing train in the back. Emily’s minimalist wedding dress is the perfect example of how a bride can combine the top of one dress with the skirt of another–it’s one of our most popular customizations!

The couple held their classic and sweet ceremony at Christ Fellowship Church. Emily walked down the aisle with a gorgeous bouquet in hand from Alabama florist Ricky Whitley Flowers. The bride met her groom at the altar, who looked dapper in his suit from Alain Dupetit.

After the ceremony, the couple, bridal party, and guests made their way to the reception, which was held at Events at Haven, a popular Alabama wedding venue for big weddings. Everyone enjoyed the food from caterer Kathy G and Co. and the delicious wedding cake by Daughter’s Baking. Guests danced the night away to music provided by Just a Few Cats, and wedding videographer, Main Street Productions, was sure to capture it all. At the end of the night, guests were treated to a late night snack of doughnuts and milk. This was such a fun treat for guests to enjoy before sending off the newlyweds!

We were so happy to be a part of Emily and Addison’s day, and we wish them the best!
