A vineyard in Sonoma valley serves as the breathtaking backdrop for Megan and Brian’s California wedding. Every beautiful moment was captured by Sweetbay Photography, a northern California wedding photography team.

Megan got ready with her bridesmaids in matching satin bridal robes and slippers while each enjoying a glass of wine from the vineyard. As the girls got dressed in their dusty pink bridesmaids dresses, Megan put on her timeless wedding dress, which she has customized to her exact style.

To create her one-of-a-kind lace wedding dress, Megan combined two different dresses from our Build-A-Bride collection into one. She selected the top of our Aurora Maya spaghetti strap wedding dress and the skirt of our Caroline York ball gown wedding dress. Our mix-and-match wedding dress experience gives each bride the option to hand select every element of her dress, and that’s exactly what Megan did. She fell in love with our boho Brookley lace, so we created a beautiful lace overlay on the bodice of Megan’s wedding dress to bring her full wedding dress vision to life. 

Megan’s half-up half-down bridal hairstyle with loose curls was adorned with an embellished hair piece, and her pearl bridal shoes complemented her feminine wedding dress beautifully. “My dress was such a hit,” says Megan. “Everyone loved it, and I felt like a princess.” The wedding bouquet filled with white florals and natural greenery by Vanda Floral Design added to Megan’s soft, ethereal bridal style. 

The couple wed at Gloria Ferrer Winery, known for being the first sparkling winery in Carneros as well as a picturesque event venue in California. With sweeping views of the Sonoma County sky and acres of vineyard vines as far as the eye can see, we can’t imagine a more stunning location to exchange vows. 

Following an intimate wedding ceremony under the winery’s pavilion, the newlyweds joined their guests for an indoor reception amidst the barrels of wine–it made for such a cool and unexpected wedding reception venue! With a meal catered by Park Avenue Catering, sentimental toasts by the family, and enough wine to go around, the reception felt fun and relaxed all night long.

Megan was such a sweet and genuine bride to work with, and creating her special wedding dress was a joy. We are sending her and Brian all of our love!
