Olivia and Jake’s timeless southern wedding is one that we certainly will never forget! The outdoor wedding venue at Windwood Equestrian was the perfect location for this classic Alabama wedding. Birmingham wedding planner Kendal Perry carefully curated every detail of their special day to make their vision come to life.

Olivia got ready for her big day on an outdoor porch wearing a white ruffled pajama set. Local hair and makeup artist Brittany Massey gave Olivia a sultry smokey eye bridal makeup look and a glamorous curled wedding hairstyle. Her bridesmaids wore matching blue floral pajama sets, incorporating the blue from the vintage stamps on the wedding invitations photographed by Alabama wedding photographer Brooke Glassford.

For her timeless wedding dress, Olivia chose to combine two of our Build-A-Bride dresses to create a clean and classic wedding dress of her own. Our Diana Kelly bodice features a deep-V neckline and a wide waistband. Olivia chose to pair this V-neck bodice with our Coco Marie fit-to-flare wedding dress skirt. Olivia’s wedding dress also features a chapel length train and covered buttons down the back, giving this polished wedding look its own special touch. Olivia’s unique combination of these two dresses has been so popular with our brides that we created a new dress, Callie Poole, in our Build-A-Bride collection!

Olivia met her groom at the altar in front of a flower adorned wooden cross with white flowers and greenery from Southern Posies. Their outdoor summer wedding ceremony was accompanied by ceremony music from Cahaba River Strings. The happy couple shared a kiss at the end of the aisle before making their way to the reception.

Olivia and Jake’s reception was held at the stables of the Equestrian center. The reception drapery from On-Site Productions was the perfect backdrop for the reception rentals from Prophouse and Event Rentals Unlimited. The tables and buffet line were draped in linens from BBJ Linen and La Tavola Linen before setting up the buffet style reception dinner catered by Iz Cafe and Catering. The couple danced the night away to reception band Powerhouse and celebrated with friends and family. Their five-tiered wedding cake from Barb’s Cakes featured delicate white flowers between each layer. Olivia and Jake treated their guests to a late night snack from Taco Bell before their white rose petal send-off. The couple then left their reception in a vintage getaway car from Coats Classics Cars.

We loved working with Olivia to create her minimalist wedding dress to complement the rest of her celebration! We hope she and Jake are enjoying life as newlyweds!
