High school sweethearts Riley Anna and Alex celebrated their wedding on the perfect summer day surrounded by friends and family. Their outdoor wedding was filled with sweet details, lots of dancing, and a “Roll Tide” send off.

Kristy Lee Events, a Tuscaloosa wedding planner, helped Riley Anna choose an amazing team of Alabama vendors for the big day. The couple got married at The Sonnet House, a gorgeous farmhouse venue located in Leeds, Alabama. This historic wedding venue outside of Birmingham, Alabama offers all-inclusive wedding services, so they also provided the wedding catering and beautiful natural florals that enhanced this countryside wedding venue.

Riley Anna and her bridesmaids started their day by having their wedding hair and makeup done by the talented Whitney Strickland, a hair and makeup artist in Tuscaloosa. The girls wore matching champagne-colored bridesmaids robes, while Riley Anna wore a white bridal robe adorned with a cute “bride-to-be” sash!

Riley Anna visited us at a Build-A-Bride™ Trunk Show in Tuscaloosa and knew she had found “the one” as soon as she stepped into our Tiffany Nicole crepe wedding dress. Our trunk shows are an opportunity to showcase a wider selection of our Build-A-Bride™ wedding dresses in cities where we do not currently have a Build-A-Bride™ bridal salon.

The Tiffany Nicole silhouette is a lightweight spaghetti strap wedding dress that is fitted through the hips and flows into a chapel length train. The back of this minimalist wedding dress features a plunging scoop back, buttons, and gorgeous box pleats. Riley Anna was our first Build-A-Bride™ bride to wear this gown, and she couldn’t have looked more stunning in it! The bride completed her clean and classic wedding day look with our Clean Edge Chapel Length Wedding Veil and crystal bridal earrings by Sorrelli.

We adored Riley Anna’s bridal updo that emphasized the natural curly texture of her hair--she was beaming as she walked down the aisle to say “I do” to her beau! Alex and his groomsmen wore classic navy suits by Lily Pads Boutique, while the bridesmaids wore chic blush pink bridesmaids dresses and bridesmaids jewelry by Cindy Moore Designs, a local handmade jewelry maker. Riley’s mom wore a beautiful slate blue mother of the bride dress with sequins--for new mother of the bride gowns, visit our flagship Heidi Elnora Atelier!

Ice Cream Social, an Alabama stationery and paper goods company, created a stunning wedding invitation suite for the couple. Guests enjoyed beautiful wedding cakes from Tuscaloosa bakery The Cottage Bakery and danced all night long with music provided by Alabama wedding DJ Elite Productions.

Kristen Pugh Photography, a Birmingham wedding photographer, captured every joyful moment throughout the day, while IB Event Video, a Tuscaloosa wedding videographer, was able to provide the newlyweds with the perfect wedding video to reminisce of their special day!

Riley Anna was so joyful to work with and we are thankful to have been a part of her wedding day. We wish nothing but happiness to the newlyweds in the years to come!
