rosemary + brock
Take a classic southern wedding and place it in the midst of a global pandemic, and you have Rosemary and Brock’s beautiful July wedding. All couples who had to postpone or alter their 2020 weddings have a special place in our hearts, and Rosemary and Brock are no exception. After sending out their initial May wedding invitation by Reaves Engraving, they sent out a playful postponement card for July stating “Let’s try this again!”
The pair held their ceremony at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Greenville, AL, where they celebrated the time-honored tradition of burying the bourbon before their wedding day. Rosemary looked gorgeous in our Heidi Elnora Build-A-Bride™ wedding dress, the Caroline York. This jewel neckline, modified ball gown is light and airy, featuring a modern bodice that emphasizes the natural waist and leads to a unique criss-cross grosgrain ribbon back. And yes--this wedding dress has pockets! Rosemary had her wedding hair done by master hairstylist Ty Eiland. To complement this fresh summer look, Rosemary’s bridesmaids wore powder blue bridesmaid dresses by Dessy Group and carried pale pink bouquets by local florist and wedding coordinator Steadham McGowin.
After an intimate ceremony with just the couple’s closest family and friends, the wedding party celebrated a southern soiree at the home of Rosemary’s grandmother. Before joining their guests, Rosemary and Brock shared a special dinner in the garden between just the two of them. The reception was catered by Alabama-based caterer Jennie Weller Catering and Events and included southern sweets like petit fours and banana pudding, along with a delicious chocolate cake by wedding cake designer Peggy McKinney.
As a uniquely 2020 wedding favor, Rosemary and Brian provided their guests with wedding-themed masks to wear at the reception, which was decorated with rentals by Brendle Rentals and entertained by Sandy B and the Allstars, an energetic band based out of Augusta, Georgia.
Rosemary and Brian’s wedding was sweet, sentimental, and certainly memorable! We wish this lovely couple a wonderful future!
