Our Favorite Bachelor Nation Couples
By Marlye Lee, Build-A-Bride™ Auburn
We are no stranger to reality TV here at Build-A-Bride™, thanks to a little show called “Bride by Design” that aired on TLC starring our founder Heidi Elnora. However, one of my favorite longstanding reality TV shows is The Bachelor and all of its spinoffs. This almost 19 year long franchise is built around one Bachelor or Bachelorette dating 25 to 30 eligible suitors with the season hopefully ending in an engagement.
While drama typically ensues, we have been given many television engagements and happy couples! Read below for a few of our favorite couples who are here to prove that true love does exist.

Bachelor Nation's favorite success story just celebrated their 17-year wedding anniversary! Trista Rehn was on The Bachelor Season 1 and ultimately ended up in second place. She then became the star of the first season of The Bachelorette and ended up with her now husband, Ryan Sutter. Ryan proposed with a handwritten poem that was swoonworthy.
Trista’s Marriage Advice: “We obviously love each other, but we like each other also. You need to actually be friends with your partner.”

When Sean Lowe was sent home near the end of The Bachelorette Season 8, it was confessed by the lead that “the perfect guy” was sent home. Sean became the next Bachelor and his season ended with a proposal to Catherine Giudici. Sean and Catherine wed on live TV in January 2014 in front of a crowd of Bachelor Nation contestants. They are the only couple to get engaged during their finale and then get married!
Favorite Sean Lowe Quote: “Without marriage, how would men know when they’re wrong about everything?”
JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers

Bachelor Nation favorite JoJo Fletcher had her heart broken on season 20 of The Bachelor. On her own season of The Bachelorette, JoJo pursued Jordan Rodgers the entire season by giving him the first impression rose among many one-on-one dates, and the season ended with Jordan on one knee in 2016. The couple is still going strong and planning a California wedding.
JoJo’s Relationship Advice: “We’re always learning, we’re always adjusting. You’re never going to go through a phase of life where you just stop trying to compromise, or stop trying to see your partner’s point of view. It’s always just giving your partner the benefit of the doubt, communicating.”
Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo

After being sent home on Season 21 of The Bachelor, Rachel Lindsay found love on her season of The Bachelorette with Bryan Abasolo in 2017. Of the 24 eligible men, Bryan was the winner of the first impression rose, and that first impression led them to wed in Mexico in the summer of 2019.
Favorite Rachel and Bryan Moment: On the first night of Rachel’s season, Bryan went for it and mid-conversation gave Rachel a kiss--and it was steamy! Then, after receiving the first impression rose, he went in for round two!
Hannah Godwin and Dylan Barbour

Alabama native Hannah Godwin was eliminated as a contestant on Season 23 of The Bachelor, while Dylan Barbour was eliminated by another Alabama Hannah, Build-A-Bride™ ambassador Hannah Brown, on Season 15 of The Bachelorette. They ultimately found love while on Bachelor in Paradise. Dylan proposed to Hannah during the show's finale.
Hannah’s Relationship Advice: “I just want him to feel happy, he wants me to feel happy, and [using] whatever methods to get there, and communicating about it — that’s the trick for us."
